Meet Hillel Kaye DDS, MD

BIO

Dr. Hillel Kaye was born and raised in NJ. He graduated from Yeshiva University with a BA in Biology in 2011. He then attended NYU College of Dentistry, receiving his DDS in 2016, where he discovered his passion- Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He went on to complete a 6-year OMFS residency at Northwell-LIJ in 2022. During this time he also trained as a physician, receiving his M.D. from Stony Brook School of Medicine. Additionally, he completed one year of general surgery, including trauma, acute care, surgical oncology, and pediatric surgery.

He went on to serve as Chief OMFS resident at LIJ and Stony Brook in his final year.

Dr. Kaye is trained in the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, including surgical facial trauma, orthognathic, TMJ surgery, head and neck pathology, and reconstructive surgery.

He has a special interest in dentoalveolar surgery, including dental implants using computer-guided technology, advanced bone grafting, and wisdom teeth extractions. He is also trained in general anesthesia, providing both IV sedation and conscious sedation to patients.

He has also been involved in research throughout his training, including a textbook chapter in “Complex dental implants in Oral Maxillofacial Reconstruction”. He co-authored the chapter on the “Jaw in a Day” technique, using free fibula flaps for maxillofacial reconstruction.

Dr. Kaye loves being an oral surgeon, and is thankful that he is able to provide both surgical and medical care to his patients. His primary goal is to ensure patients always feel comfortable and at ease, while improving their quality of life.

When Dr. Kaye is not in the Union City Oral Surgery Group office, he can be found spending time with his friends and family. He enjoys traveling, playing basketball, and fencing.
