Meet Dr. John E. Mullins Jr.

Dr. John E. Mullins Jr. DMD, grew up in West Orange, New Jersey. He has dedicated himself to providing the highest quality of care in the specialty of oral and maxillofacial surgery. Deciding at the age of 16 that he wanted to be an oral surgeon, Dr. Mullins Jr. matriculated through Howard University’s’ undergraduate program and The University of medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey’s dental school. Dr. Mullins, Jr. completed his oral surgery training through Woodhull Medical center located in Brooklyn, New York. He later received a certificate of faculty appointment in 1998 at the NYU College of Dentistry and served as a clinical professor.

Dr. Mullins Jr. has practiced privately since 1992 and is proud to be a team member of Union City Oral Surgery Group. He has maintained his professional membership with AAMOS since his induction in 2001. Dr. Mullins Jr. has worked on studies and articles that have been published in multiple magazines and dental journals.

Dr. Mullins Jr. says, “being that oral surgery may be very intimidating for most patients, I am committed to providing the most pleasant experience possible to every patient I encounter and seek to do so under the safest and most professional circumstance available to myself and my patients.”
